Nepal Women's T20I Tri-Series: Netherlands set a target of 158 runs against Nepal
Kathmandu, January 30 — In the first match of the Nepal Women's T20I Tri-Series, held at Kirtipur today, the Netherlands Women’s team set a target of 158 runs for Nepal Women.
Nethelands Women finished their innings at 157 at the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Nepal Women won the toss and opted to field first.
Robine Rijke was the top scorer for the Netherlands, remaining not out on 59 runs off 48 balls, with 8 boundaries.
Iris Zwilling also played a quickfire knock, scoring 30 runs off just 12 balls, striking at an impressive 250.00 SR.
Other notable contributions came from Sterre Kalis, who made 29 runs off 35 balls, and Heather Siegers, who scored 23 runs off 19 balls.
On the bowling front, Nepal Women’s bowlers put up a weak performance.
Kabita Kunwar claimed 1 wicket for 14 runs in 2 overs, while Puja Mahato also picked up 1 wicket for 25 runs in 3 overs.
Sita Rana Magar and Ishwori Bist each took 1 wicket as well, but the other bowlers, including Rubina Chhetry, Indu Barma, and Kabita Joshi, could not manage to get any wickets.
