Nepali Congress MPs express discontent over lack of discussion on ordinance
Kathmandu, January 27 — Nepali Congress MPs have expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the government did not discuss the ordinance with party lawmakers before its introduction.
They also complained that the ministers from their party have not engaged in any discussions with MPs.
At the Nepali Congress parliamentary party meeting held on Monday, most MPs voiced these concerns.
They also raised questions about the implementation of the budget.
Chief Whip of Nepali Congress, Shyam Ghimire, mentioned that 17 MPs raised serious issues during the second day of the meeting.
"Today, MPs raised questions regarding the parliamentary session, the ordinance, and the budget," Ghimire said in a response to the media after the meeting." "The comments from the honorable members are very important and serious, and the discussion is ongoing," he added.
