New Road-Shukrapath area sees uniform house color (photos)

Kathmandu, January 27 — As part of the ongoing footpath expansion, which has previously sparked controversy, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City is painting all the houses in the New Road-Shukrapath area of Ward 24 with the same color.
This initiative is being carried out with the support of local residents and business owners in the area, under the leadership of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
In addition to the painting, work on expanding the footpath and burying electrical cables underground has already been underway.
