President Paudel inspects Kathmandu–Terai Madhes Fast Track project (photos)
Kathmandu, January 17 — President Ram Chandra Paudel has inspected the ongoing Kathmandu–Terai Madhes Fast Track project.
During the inspection, he was briefed on the progress and ongoing work of the project.
He observed the construction of tunnels, bridges, and roads, and gathered necessary information regarding the efforts to complete the project.
This project, one of the nation's key infrastructure initiatives, is being constructed under the management of the Nepal Army.
After the inspection, President Paudel directed the Army to work with high morale to complete the project within the set timeframe.
The completion of the fast track, which connects Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Makwanpur, and reaches Nijgadh in Bara to join the East-West Highway, is expected to significantly contribute to the country's development and prosperity.
