Bad weather disrupts flights on three major routes

Kathmandu, January 16 — Flights on three major routes have been affected due to poor weather conditions.

According to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) authorities, flights to Biratnagar, Janakpur, and Rajbiraj have been disrupted.

Currently, the Biratnagar flight remains canceled, while the Rajbiraj flight, which had been grounded since morning, has only just resumed.

The Janakpur flight is also set to resume as the weather begins to clear up, confirmed TIA spokesperson Rinji Sherpa.

Meanwhile, flights from other airports, including Chandragadhi, Bharatpur, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara, have been operating normally since this morning, the spokesperson added.
