Gold price up by NPR 1,200 per tola

Kathmandu, January 16 — Gold prices have risen by NPR 1,200 per tola on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

The price of hallmarked gold is currently set at NPR 156,600 per tola. On Wednesday, hallmarked gold was traded at NPR 155,400 per tola.

Silver prices have also seen an increase, rising by NPR 50 per tola.

Silver is now being bought and sold at NPR 1,880 per tola, up from NPR 1,830 per tola on Wednesday.
