HoR and NA meetings pass condolence motion on demise of NC leader Khadka

Kathmandu –The separate meetings of the House of Representatives and National Assembly today unanimously passed condolence motion on the demise of Nepali Congress leader and former minister Khum Bahadur Khadka. 
Both the meetings held at Baneshwor-based Federal Parliament Building also observed a minute's silence in memory of NC leader late Khadka. 

Khadka, who was elected as a member of parliament in 2048 BS, 2051 BS and 2056 BS from Dang, had died at the age of 67 on March 30. 

He had served as a minister for Physical Planning, Local Development, Home Affairs, Forests and Soil Conservation, Supplies and Water Resources in different times. 

The next meeting of HoR has been scheduled at 1:00 pm tomorrow while NA will meet again at 4:00 pm on Tuesday.
