PSC proposes clear policy on employee transfers
Kathmandu, January 3 — The Public Service Commission has suggested implementing a clear policy regarding the transfer period of employees.
Speaking at a meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee on Friday, the Chairman of the Public Service Commission, Madhav Prasad Regmi, emphasized the need for a clear regulation regarding transfers within the civil service.
He suggested that a fixed period should be established for employees, ensuring that secretaries stay for one year, joint secretaries for two years, under secretaries for three years, section officers for four years, and other employees for five years in the same ministry or affiliated body.
