NEPSE index increases by 4.63 points
Kathmandu, January 2 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 4.63 points on Thursday, reaching 2,586.23 points.
On Thursday, a total of NPR 4.6 billion (460.32 million) worth of transactions took place, with 10,086,705 shares bought and sold across various companies.
On Wednesday, 305 companies saw the trade of 94.34 million shares, amounting to a total transaction value of NPR 3.59 billion.
Out of the 156 companies whose shares increased on Thursday, 77 saw a decrease in share value, while 11 companies maintained stable share prices.
Notably, Nyadi Hydropower Limited's stock price saw a positive circuit, increasing by 10%.
Development Bank shares saw the highest trading volume, with its index increasing by 2.4%.
