23 injured in Iran's 5.3-magnitude earthquake

 

 

TEHRAN – At least 23 people were injured in a 5.3-magnitude earthquake that jolted Iran's Kermanshah province on Sunday. 
"The earthquake has left 23 people injured," Maziar Tahmasebi, a senior health and medical official in Kermanshah province, told Tasnim news agency. 


The epicenter of the earthquake, which took place at 13:05 a.m. local time (0835 GMT), was in Sar pol zahab city. 
The quake was determined at the depth of 8 km, 34.421 degrees north latitude and 45.807 degrees east longitude. 
In November, a magnitude 7.3 earthquake shook the same area that killed at least 530 people and injured more than 8,000. Enditem
