Nepali Congress candidate Dangol wins Kirtipur mayor

Kathmandu, December 2 — The Nepali Congress candidate Krishnaman Dangol has won the position of Mayor of Kirtipur Municipality.

Dangol secured 5,334 votes to win.

Dangol's nearest rival Maoist Center candidate Shivasharan Maharjan received 4,555 votes, while UML's Surendra Manandhar obtained 4,337 votes.
