Seto Machhindranath drawing devotees

 

 

Kathmandu – A large number of people have gathered in Lagantole of Kathmandu to pay obeisance to Seto Machhindranath. 
The chariot procession carrying the statute of Machhindranath, revered as rain god, arrived in Lagantole on Tuesday evening. Since then, a large number of people are coming for a darshan of Seto Machhindranath. 
The chariot procession began from Tindhara pathshala premises on Sunday. And it has reached Lagantole after passing through Ason and Hanumandhoka on Monday. 


It is traditionally believed that a darshan of Machhindranath, the god of rain and good times, relieves one from diseases, ward member of Kathmandu metropolis-24 Binod Tuladhar said.
