In pictures: Clash during cooperatives victims' protest

Kathmandu, November 20 — A clash erupted at Maitighar in the capital on Wednesday afternoon during a protest by cooperatives victims.  

The clash occurred when police stopped the protesters as they tried to move toward Baneshwar.

Protesters responded by pelting stones at the police.

In the clash, police resorted to baton charge, resulting in several injuries.

Eyewitnesses stated that one individual sustained a head injury during the incident.
