NEPSE rebounds with 9-point gain on Wednesday

Kathmandu, November 20 — The NEPSE index declined by 51 points on Tuesday, but it rebounded with a 9-point gain on Wednesday. The market, which started trading at 2,705 points, experienced significant fluctuations before closing at 2,711.75 points.

On Wednesday, share prices of 143 companies increased, while 89 companies saw a decline, and 11 remained unchanged.

A total of 15.464 million shares were traded, resulting in a turnover of 7.0928 billion NPR. Nagdi Group Power recorded the highest transaction value, with shares worth 328.1 million NPR traded.

Sector-wise, investors showed particular interest in development banks, as their index rose by 3.38%.

Similarly, the finance subgroup index grew by 1.66%, and the hydropower subgroup index saw a 1.28% increase.
