26-year-old dies from electric shock in Kalikot

Kalikot, November 18 — A person died this morning due to an electric shock in Rara village, located in Shubakalika Rural Municipality-4 of the district.

The chief of the district police office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Rawat, informed that 26-year-old Birendra Chaulagain died from an electric shock while climbing a pole at around 8 a.m.

Chaulagain was engaged in general electrical work. The police informed that a report has been prepared and the body will be sent for post-mortem at the district hospital in Manma.

Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
