Local by-elections: Nomination filing continues in Kathmandu (photos)

Kathmandu, November 17 — Nominations for the upcoming local by-elections on December 1 are being filed in Kathmandu. The process of registering candidacies for the by-elections in four constituencies in Kathmandu continued on Sunday.

The by-elections will be held for the mayoral position of Kirtipur Municipality, along with three other constituencies, and for the Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 16 in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Nominations will be accepted at the offices of the election officers established at the respective local levels from 10 AM to 5 PM.
