UML candidate to contest under Congress symbol in Rukum East!

Butwal, November 17 — In Rukum East's Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality, the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress are preparing to register joint nominations for the position of Deputy Chairperson and Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 2.

Bhim Bahadur Khadka, the Vice President of the Nepali Congress in Rukum East, stated that the UML candidate, Kesh Kumari Tulachan, is preparing to contest under the Nepali Congress' election symbol, the tree.

Similarly, discussions are ongoing between the Congress and UML to field a common candidate with the same symbol for the ward. Khadka informed Ratopati that although nominations have not yet been submitted, they expect to reach a conclusion in the coming days through ongoing discussions.
