Cyclone Dana effect: Partial cloudiness expected nationwide, light rain in some places
Kathmandu, October 26 — The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that the country is experiencing the partial influence of the western winds as well as the cyclone Dana developed in the Bay of Bengal. As a result, there is partial to generally cloudy weather in the Koshi Province, with light rainfall occurring in one or two areas.
This afternoon, the weather in the hilly regions of the country, including Koshi Province, is expected to be partially to generally cloudy, while the remaining areas will have partial cloudiness with mostly clear weather. There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunderstorms in one or two places in the hilly regions.
Tonight, there will be partial cloudiness in the hilly areas of the Koshi Province and the rest of the country, with mostly clear weather expected in other regions. Light rain with thunderstorms is possible in one or two areas of the hilly regions of the Koshi Province.
The division has advised necessary precautions, as light rain with thunderstorms in one or two areas of the hilly regions, including Koshi Province, may partially affect agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road, and air transport.
