Former DIG Joshi interrogated in Rupandehi cooperative fraud case
Butwal, October 22 — The statement from former DIG Chhabilal Joshi began on Tuesday at the District Attorney's Office in Rupandehi. He was brought to Bhairahawa from Kaski on Monday evening to investigate the Supreme Cooperative fraud case.
Rupandehi SP Ranjit Singh Rathor informed Ratopati that recording his statement had started a little while ago at the District Attorney's Office in Rupandehi.
Joshi is being questioned in the presence of attorney Prem Raj Paudel, DSP Bijay Raj Pandit from the Butwal Area Police Office, and investigating officers.
The inquiry was initiated after Chhabilal was implicated in the embezzlement case involving the Supreme Cooperative in Butwal.
Authorities indicated that they plan to send Joshi back today if possible, otherwise, he will be sent tomorrow.
