Police intervene as supporters of Lamichhane protest; one arrested
Pokhara, October 20 — One protester has been arrested during a protest in Pokhara in support of Rashtriya Swotantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane.
Police used water cannons to disperse the leaders and activists of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party who were protesting in a restricted area.
Following Lamichhane's arrest in the cooperative fraud case, his supporters took to the streets near the Kaski District Court.
Despite the administration declaring the area as prohibited, the protesters ignored this and continued their demonstration.
