Home Minister urges India to make Nepal as partner of development

Kathmandu - Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that friendly relations between Nepal-India should be further strengthened and it should be made more reliable in days ahead. 
During the meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri, at the Home Ministry on Monday, Home Minister Thapa thanked the Indian government for its continued support for Nepal's development endeavours. 
Urging the Indian Ambassador to facilitate the construction of training centre of the Nepal Police to be constructed at Kavrepalanchowk with the support of Indian government, Minister Thapa expressed the belief that the Nepal would get continuous support of Indian government in the days to come.

 
He said that both Nepal and India should be alert over criminal activities taking place by benefitting from the open border and urged to make Nepal a partner of the rapid development achieved by India. 
Similarly, Indian Ambassador Puri said that no one can spoil the relation between Nepal and India and requested the Home Minister for India visit. 

Saying he would take initiative to accelerate the construction of the training centre and the Indian government was ready to provide vehicles and training for security bodies, Ambassador Puri said that Indian entrepreneurs were ready to invest in Nepal provided guarantee of security.
