Philanthropists donate Rs 4 million plus for orphanage

Bensisahar - A woman has donated Rs 4 million in cash for the operation of an orphanage in Lamjung district. 
Sanumaya Gurung, Chairwoman of Adarsha Women and Child Development Centre, provided the cash to establish a revolving fund for the support of the children's home initiated by the organization. 
Gurung provided the amount on Sunday at the programme organized to mark the fifth memorial day of the organization's founding chairman Lekhnath Adhikari. 

Gurung said that she donated the cash to ensure children's right to life and education. "The orphanage should support for the livelihood and education of the children." Likewise, other persons also provided financial support for the orphanage.
