Gold prices drop by NPR 1,000 on last day before Dashain holidays

Kathmandu, October 9 — On the last day before the Dashain holiday, the price of gold has decreased. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmarked gold has dropped by 1,000 rupees for Wednesday.

The new price for hallmarked gold will be 159,100 rupees per tola. On Tuesday, the price was 160,100 rupees per tola.

Today, there has also been a significant decline in the price of silver. The price of silver, which was 1,940 rupees per tola on Tuesday, has decreased by 40 rupees to 1,900 rupees per tola.
