Gold prices soars

Kathmandu, October 3 — The price of gold in the Nepali market approached NPR 161,000 per tola (11.66 grams) on Thursday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmarked gold was set at NPR 160,900 per tola on Thursday.

On the previous day, Wednesday, the price of hallmarked gold was NPR 160,800 per tola. Similarly, on Thursday, the price of hallmarked gold was NPR 137,945 per 10 grams, as reported by the federation.

Meanwhile, the price of silver saw a slight increase on Thursday. Silver, which was trading at NPR 1,935 per tola on Wednesday, rose to NPR 1,950 per tola on Thursday.
