ADB forecasts 4.9% economic growth for Nepal in current fiscal year
Kathmandu, September 25 — The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has projected a 4.9% economic growth for Nepal in the current fiscal year.
The government has set a target of 6% economic growth for the fiscal year 2024/25.
According to ADB, Nepal's economic growth rate was 3.9% in the previous fiscal year 2023/24.
The ADB also stated that the inflation rate for the current fiscal year is expected to be 5.5%.
Meanwhile, the Nepal Rastra Bank aims to limit inflation to 5%.
