NEPSE shows positive movement after three days of decline
Kathmandu, September 22 — The share market index rose by 11.58 points on Sunday, reaching a peak of 2,642 before closing at 2,588 after three consecutive days of decline.
A total of 138 companies experienced increases in their share prices, with Eastern Hydropower, Atmanirbhar Microfinance, and Upper Syange Hydropower each rising by 10%.
In contrast, 94 companies saw declines, with Rawa Energy, Swarojgar Microfinance, and NIC Asia Balance Fund being among the most affected.
Overall, the trading volume for the day amounted to NPR 5.09 billion, with 1.24 million shares exchanged across 325 companies, as reported by NEPSE.
