NEPSE index drops by 50.73 points on Sunday
Kathmandu, September 15 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 50.73 points on Sunday. On the first trading day of the week, the NEPSE index fell to 2,637.79 points.
During the day, transactions involved 2.48 million shares, with total trading exceeding NPR 10.33 billion.
Despite the overall decline in the NEPSE index, shares of three companies—River Falls Power, Himal Hydro, and Rawa Energy Development Limited—saw a positive rise of 10%. However, shares of 256 other companies experienced losses.
According to NEPSE, all 13 sub-indices fell on this day, with the highest decline observed in the insurance sector.
