HoR session: Heated argument between the Maoist and UML MPs (pictures)

Kathmandu, September 11 — During a House of Representatives meeting today, MPs from the CPN-Maoist Center and the UML clashed over the use of the term "violence."

The dispute erupted after Speaker Devraj Ghimire ruled on Wednesday that the term "violence," as used in reference to the Maoist People's War, would remain in the official records.

The decision led to a heated argument between the Maoist and UML MPs.
