Four persons including journalist feted

Biratnagar -  The Child Service Committee Biratnagar honoured four persons representing different sectors including a journalist on Saturday. 
The Committee honoured journalist Nawodit with 'Child Service Journalism Award' carrying a purse of Rs 11,111 on the occasion of its 35th anniversary. 
Journalist Nowodit is the Province-1 Coordinator of Karobar Daily. 
Likewise, the award bagging the same cash prize was given away to musician Kusheswor Prasad Singh Rai and child literary writer and lyricist Krishna Prasad Ghimire. Nine-year-old music practitioner Shrawani Shrestha of Biratnagar-10 was also honoured with child genius award. 
On the same occasion, an education scholarship amounting to Rs 5,000 was handed to Ram Khawas, a 11th grader of Pokhariya Higher Secondary School. 
Chairperson of the organizing committee Basushree Pandey and social worker Ram Prasad Rijal jointly gave away the cash prize, shawls and letters of appreciation. 
Established in 2040 BS, the Child Service Committee has been working in the fields of children.
