Balen lambasts Oli again, claims UML MP is using legal tactics to avoid jail

Kathmandu, September 2 — Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) has launched a sharp critique of Prime Minister and UML Chair KP Sharma Oli.

In a Facebook post today, Balen alleged that Rekha Kumari Sharma, a UML assembly member from Lumbini Province, is using legal maneuvers in the Supreme Court and High Courts to evade possible jail time for her alleged crimes. 

Shah stated that the case against Sharma has neither been investigated by the police nor presented in court, and stressed that his primary concern is ensuring that justice is served.

Shah also advised Oli to focus on educating and involving his party members in politics. He suggested that Oli should seek and follow others' guidance as he prepares for future leadership roles, warning that a lack of such knowledge could be detrimental.
