President Biden has mild upper respiratory problems

Washington. US President Joe Biden has mild upper respiratory symptoms related to the Covid-19 infection. According to the White House, the dose of paxlovid was given according to the doctor's advice.

Biden's doctor Dr. Kevin O'Connor said that the US President did not have a fever and other symptoms related to the infection were also normal. Dr. Kevin O'Connor said, “The President is experiencing mild upper respiratory tract problems due to the Covid-19 infection. We are giving him paxlovid. He has no fever and other vital signs are normal.”

“With the permission of the President, I will continue to provide regular updates as before,”, he said. “President Biden will return to Delaware and live in isolation, will continue to perform all his duties in full during that time,” The White House said in a statement issued on Wednesday. 

One day after participating in the national convention held in Las Vegas, 81-year-old President Biden was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Wednesday. After the positive test, Biden said in a post on X, “I have been diagnosed with corona but I am fine. I want to thank everyone for their well wishes.” 

“I will be in isolation until I recover and during this time I will continue to fulfill my duty to the American people,” He said. The president's doctor has revealed that Biden has symptoms of general ill health as well as a mild cold and upper respiratory tract problems. Previously, Biden was infected with Covid for the first time in July 2022.
