We should move forward together: Deuba
Kathmandu: Former prime minister and president of the Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has stated that unity among all citizens is necessary for the country to thrive. Speaking at the Federation of Democratic Indigenous and Tribal People convention on Tuesday in Kathmandu, Deuba said that indigenous people should advance as a group because their participation to all movements in Nepal is significant.
"Nepal is now a society of tribal people," he stated. Deuba further added, " Indigenous people have contributed something really significant. Thus, by banding together, you may all greatly benefit this country. Fight for your rights going forward. Concurrently, fortify the Congress party. Let this country keep growing stronger. Should it occur, our country and party will be stronger."
