Prabhu Saha asks PM to quit on moral grounds

Kathmandu: Chairman of Aam Janata Party (AJP) and former minister Prabhu Saha has questioned Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's morality.

He made this comment while participating in the discussion on the allocated budget of various ministries at the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday.

Chairman Saha also claimed that Prime Minister Dahal could not stay in office because he could not stick to his word. He criticized the the Prime Minister saying that the PM broke his promise of not handling the projects of less than 30 million by the Federal Government. Chairman Saha said that the tax paid by the Nepalese people should not be distributed only to those who have access to it.

He said, "We are watching- this budget is for those who have access to it." He further asked, " Is this not the revenue of the Nepalese people? Isn't it the tax paid by the people? If yes, should not the budget be allocated proportionately all over the country"? He alleged that budget allocation had been done as if it was given by the PM and ministers from their pockets. "I want the answwer of the PM ." he added.

Chair Saha pointed out that there is a huge lack of trust among the Nepalese people and he asked to government to work in taking all citizens into confidence.
