National Assembly to convene today
Kathmandu: The National Assembly is meeting is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
In the meeting, a proposal of urgent public importance will be discussed. The proposal is about reducing traffic accidents. The proposal of urgent public importance has Sonam Gelzen Sherpa as a proposer and Jaga Prashad Sharma, Krishna Bahadur Rokaya, Bhagawati Neupane, Madan Kumari Shah (Garima), Mohammad Khalid, Tulprasad Bishwakarma, and Shekhar Kumar Singh as seconders.
Likewise, the secretary of the National Assembly Surendra Aryal will table the message received from the House of Representatives regarding the "Security Printing Bill, 2077" which was ratified by the National Assembly and was sent to the House of Representatives with a message. Communication and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma will refer the "Media Council Bill, 2080" to the Legislation Management Committee for quarterly discussion.
