Home Minister urges prompt law implementation at APF, warns against unprofessional conduct

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has emphasized the full implementation of laws without waiting for specific orders, encouraging officials to execute their duties promptly and report thereafter.

During an inspection visit and senior officers' conference at the Armed Police Force Headquarters on Sunday, Home Minister Lamichhane issued a five-point directive to the APF, stressing the importance of timely execution of laws.

He asserted that any unprofessional behavior would not be tolerated and warned of consequences for commanders who attempt to shield individuals engaging in such conduct.

Moreover, Lamichhane stated that promotions and responsibilities within the APF would be determined based on performance evaluations.

He reiterated his commitment to formulating policies, plans, and programs in alignment with government capacity, aiming to boost the morale of human resources while enhancing the organization's physical and technical capabilities.
