Fire at mill results in Rs 15 million loss in Pathari

PATHARI: A devastating fire erupted last night at the Koshi bitten rice mill located at Buddha Chowk of Pathari Shanishare municipality-1, leading to an estimated loss of Rs 15 million.

The fire, which ignited around midnight, engulfed all the grains stored within the mill premises along with its machinery.

To combat the blaze, fire engines from Pathari Shanishchare, Urlabari, Kanepokhari, and Belbari municipalities rushed to the scene. Additionally, local residents, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force personnel joined efforts to bring the fire under control.

Pathari police office stated that the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and investigations are ongoing.
