Partly cloudy conditions prevail with chance of snow in high hills

KATHMANDU: The forecast for today indicates that the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, with clear conditions expected in other regions.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology's Weather Forecasting Division has noted the possibility of light snowfall in certain high hill and mountainous areas this afternoon and later tonight.

Looking ahead, Sunday may see snowfall in parts of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces, with similar conditions potentially persisting into Monday.

This forecast is influenced by a combination of westerly low-pressure systems and local winds, as reported by the Division.
