NOC hikes fuel prices

KATHMANDU: In a recent development, the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products.

As per the latest information received from the Indian Oil Corporation today, the revised prices are as follows: petrol has been raised by Rs 4, diesel-kerosene by Rs 2, and LP gas by Rs 15.

Consequently, the new rates for these commodities in Kathmandu are as follows: petrol will now cost Rs. 170 per liter, diesel-kerosene Rs. 158 per liter, and LPG will be priced at Rs. 1,910 per cylinder.

The NOC stated that these adjustments were made in accordance with the updated rates provided by the Indian Oil Corporation.

The public is advised to take note of these changes in fuel and gas prices.
