KATHMANDU: The Prime Minister Cup National Men’s National Cricket Tournament witnessed an intriguing match as Tribhuvan Army Club, having won the toss, decided to bat first, setting a target of 98 runs for Bagmati Province.

In a strategic move, Bagmati Province opted to bowl first and successfully contained Tribhuvan Army Club to a total of 97 runs within 27.1 overs. Now, the spotlight shifts to Bagmati Province, which faces the challenge of scoring 98 runs in 258 balls for a triumphant victory.

The batting efforts of Tribhuvan Army were led by Bibek Yadav with 11 runs, Bhim Sarki contributing 19 runs, and Binod Bhandari making 28 runs. Bagmati Province showcased a stellar bowling performance, spearheaded by Surya Tamang, who clinched an impressive five wickets. The supporting bowlers, Pratish GC and Rijan Dhakal, chipped in with two wickets each, while Krijan Gurung secured one wicket for the team.
