Koshi Provincial Assembly: Budget passed unanimously

BIRATNAGAR, Nov 29: The Appropriation Bill to substitute the Ordinance Budget from the Koshi Provincial Assembly, which was being discussed in the Provincial Assembly, has been passed unanimously. Chief Minister Kedar Karki brought the Budget Substitution Bill by adding 500 million rupees on November 25.

In the submitted Budget details, a budget of 36 billion 743 million 510 thousand rupees was proposed. Earlier, 6 UML MPs and 2 RPP MPs who disagreed with the Bill, had proposed expenditure cuts.

After the MPs withdrew their proposal, the Appropriation Bill was submitted for decision.
