Traffic Police requests general public to ride their vehicles only for urgent work tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Nov 22: The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has requested the general public to ride their vehicles inside the valley tomorrow only for urgent work, as different groups are protesting and taking out rallies and marches in different places inside the valley on November 23, Thursday, tomorrow. The Office has said that inconvenience will be caused in traffic movement all over the valley tomorrow.

CPN UML’s Youth Association Nepal and Durga Prasai, both, will conduct demonstrations in the Kathmandu Valley tomorrow. Considering the uneasy situation, different areas in the city have already been declared as prohibited areas.

The Traffic Police have requested the general public to call 100 or 103 and listen to Traffic FM 95.5 MHz and understand the situation of the streets before going out. Since the Traffic Police can diverge vehicles from anywhere while managing the traffic, the Traffic Police has also requested to provide necessary assistance.
