President Paudel going to Guheshwori and Kamalpokhari today

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: President Ram Chandra Paudel is going to Guheshwori and Kamalpokhari today on the occasion of the Chhath festival. According to his Secretariat, he is scheduled to visit Guheshwori at 4 pm and Kamalpokhari at 4:30 pm.

The Chhath festival is being celebrated with great vigour today. Riverbanks, streams and ponds across the country are decorated for the festival.

As a ritual, the setting sun is worshipped by offering argha, followed by worshipping the rising sun on Monday morning to bring the festival to an end.
