T-20 World Cup Asia Qualifier Final: Nepal loses to Oman in Super Over

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Oman defeated Nepal in the T-20 World Cup Asia Qualifier Final match held at the Tribhuwan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. After the match in the scheduled overs ended in a draw, the match entered into the Super Over, where Oman presenting a target of 22 runs, defeated Nepal who failed to meet the target.

Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Nepal made 184 runs in the scheduled 20 overs at the loss of 6 wickets. Batting in response, Oman also scored 184 runs in the scheduled 20 overs losing 9 wickets.

As the finalists, both Oman and Nepal have already been qualified for the ICC T-20 World Cup 2024 to be jointly hosted by the United States of America and the West Indies.
