Nepal selected for T-20 World Cup 2024 by beating UAE

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Nepal has been selected for the T-20 World Cup Cricket. Defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 8 wickets in the semi-finals of the World Cup Asia Qualifier held at the Mulpani Cricket Ground on Friday, Nepal has secured its place in the World Cup 2024.

Winning the toss and deciding to bat first, the UAE lost nine wickets in the scheduled overs scoring 134 runs. Nepal met the target of 135 runs at the loss of two wickets in 17.1 overs.

Nepal will face Oman in the final of the World Cup Asia Qualifier for the title on Sunday. Oman reached the final defeating Bahrain by 10 wickets on Friday.

The ninth edition of the T-20 World Cup 2024 is being jointly organized by USA and West Indies.
