UN Secretary-General Guterres addresses parliament

KATHMANDU, Oct 31: Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, has addressed the Federal Parliament today. He addressed the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly held on Tuesday.

He, who came for a four-day Nepal visit, was welcomed by Speaker Devraj Ghimire, NA Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, and others. The joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament passed the Motion of Thanks on the address of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
