CM Karki taking vote of confidence on Saturday
BIRATNAGAR, Oct 4: The Chief Minister of the Koshi Province Hikmat Kumar Karki will be taking the vote of confidence this coming Saturday. Karki, who became the Chief Minister according to Clause 3 of Article 168 of the Constitution after the mandate from the Supreme Court, the fourth Congress of the Provincial Assembly for the purpose of Karki taking the vote of confidence, has begun today.
CM Karki is preparing to take the vote of confidence on October 7, Saturday, informed the chief whip of CPN UML Koshi Province parliamentary party. If CM Karki does not receive the vote of confidence, he will be automatically dismissed from the position of the Chief Minister, and the process of formation of another government will begin under Clause 5 of Article 168 of the Constitution.
