UML Bagmati Congress: Voting begins for new leadership

KATHMANDU, Sep 29: Voting has begun for the new leadership in the CPN UML Bagmati Province. The election committee has informed that the election process has started for all posts with office bearers. The voting started at 12 pm after the election work schedule was changed several times.

Ramechhap’s Kailash Dhungel and Makawanpur’s Krishna Prasad Dahal are competing for the Chairman, while Nawaraj Silwal and Hasta Pandit are competing for Secretary.

Similarly, leader Sher Bahadur Tamang has informed that in Chitwan, Sindhupalchok, Kavre and Rasuwa, the voting concluded unanimously, while partially unopposed in 9 districts. Elections are being held for 75 members including one chairman, 1 vice chairman, 1 secretary, and 2 vice secretaries.
