Congress forms four committees for General Committee meeting

KATHMANDU, Sep 25: The Nepal Congress has formed four committees to prepare for the General Committee meeting. The formation of the committees was decided by the Central Committee meeting that was held from Thursday to Monday, except Saturday.

Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa told Ratopati that the main organising committee was formed under the leadership of Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and the policy-making committee was formed under the leadership of Deputy President Purna Bahadur Khadka.

Similarly, the organisational proposal committee was formed under the leadership of General Secretary Thapa and the political proposal committee was formed under the leadership of another General Secretary, Bishwa Prakash Sharma.

The General Committee meeting of the Nepal Congress is scheduled to be held from November 29 to December 1.
