Chief Minister Karki adds four ministers in Koshi Cabinet

BIRATNAGAR, Sep 25: Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has reconstituted the Koshi Province government by adding four ministers.

Karki has also reshuffled the responsibilities of the ministers. With this, there are now 9 members in the Koshi Province Cabinet. Among them are the Chief Minister, five ministers and three state ministers.

Minister Buddhi Kumar Rajbhandari has been appointed as the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Lila Ballav Adhikari as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law, Ram Prasad Mahato as the State Minister of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives and Niran Rai as the State Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning.

Former Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Til Kumar Menyangbo, has been appointed as the State Minister of Health.

Similarly, previously appointed ministers Panch Karna Rai, Ekraj Karki and Srijana Rai have been appointed as the State Minister of Tourism, Forest and Environment, State Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development and State Minister of Social Development respectively. They have all taken their vows in the Office of the Province Chief.
