India wins Women’s Cricket Championship in Asian Games

KATHMANDU, Sep 25: India has won the title of the Women’s Cricket in the 19th Asian Games defeating Sri Lanka by 19 runs on Monday.

After winning the toss, and batting first, India made 116 runs in the scheduled 20 overs at the loss of 7 wickets. Sri Lanka, on its turn, could only make 97 runs at the loss of eight wickets.
